The exposition of Black Music will honour undoubtedly one of the 20th century’s most vibrant and genuine forms of artistic expression.

This exhibition, at the cutting edge of technology, will be the first International Multimedia Exhibition dedicated to Black Music in South Africa. It will take place in Johannesburg from July to December 2012. A space that boasts 600 square meters will be filled with 100 interactive installations - accessible to everyone, with all cultural and social backgrounds, as well as those with special needs.

The exhibition consists of six themed areas, with great artists, the mainstream of black music and trends today. Upon entering the museum, visitors are encouraged to get a smartphone running an android system and stereo headphones. This feature allows you to interact with all the features of the exhibition’s installations and the music.

Throughout the journey, visitors can safeguard their musical choices thanks to the interactive interface and create a playlist allowing them to listen to their choices at home. A specially-developed social function was developed to allow fun family and group visits.
